The rest of the class spec choices are totally up to you, and you can mix and match a few things depending on what weapons you use. Feel free to experiment and see where you can get the most damage.

Best Skills for Trickster

The most important skill to use on this build is Twisted Rounds. It fills your current weapon’s magazine with Anomaly-infused bullets that increase your Fire Power. The skill lasts until you reload or switch weapons. We’ll be using mods that make it, so we will never need to reload.

You can use a Deception or Damage skill for one of the other skills and pair it with something like Borrowed Time or Hunt the Prey.

Best Weapons, Armor, and Mods for Trickster

The weapon choices depend on what you can find in-game. You may want to focus on shotguns so you can hip-fire down the mobs when they rush you. With the Twisted Rounds skill, you should go with any fully automatic weapon or shotgun with good mods.

For armor mods, you’ll want to make sure you get many modifiers for Twisted Rounds. Some good ones like Twisted Fate will increase Critical Damage. Anomalic Caliber is another good one, which gives you a 30% Resistance Piercing bonus while the skill is active. Strong Twist is also a good option, giving you an extra 15% Firepower while Twisted Rounds is active. If you are at a point where you need to reload your weapon, you can also get Additional Mag, allowing Twisted Rounds to stay active for an extra clip.

For your armor stats, make sure you have a lot of Bonus Firepower on each of your pieces. Firepower will boost your overall damage a lot. An excellent secondary stat to pay attention to is Close Range power.

When it comes to Weapon Mods, the best ones you will find are on Legendary items, which are difficult to find. The best mod, in general, is Perpetuum Mobile. It instantly replenishes your magazine when you kill an enemy with 35% or less ammo remaining in your magazine. Another decent mod is Ruler of Leeches, which makes your killing shots increase Weapon Leech by 20%. At the end of the day, it all comes down to what weapons you find, and you can probably figure out which mods are good for you at the time.
