This could either be farms that cater towards expanding profits or wanting to fit the farmer’s aesthetic. Honestly, the best farm layout is up to the player, because our gameplay, focuses on making money. In our opinion, what makes the best farm layout in Fae Farm, would have to be, without a doubt, a layout that’s beginner-friendly. Here are a few ideas you can use for your farm the next time you play Fae Farm.
What is the Best Layout in Fae Farm?
The best Fae Farm layouts we recommend you use for your gameplay have to do with simplicity. In addition to simplistic layouts, we have layouts that focus on making a ton of money. If you’ve ever played games such as Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing, you’re familiar with starting a farm from the beginning. Creating a farm is tough when you’re not sure where to begin. Without further ado, here are some ideas to get you started.
1. Simplistic Designs
The reason why we chose the layout from the user @sadlittleacorn is due to its simplistic nature. We have a creator who wanted to breed flowers and categorize them in a doable state. All of the flowers are organized by color and are separated by a wooden path. This setup is beautiful and if you’re new to farm life, it’s not difficult to replicate this idea on your own. You should also try creating hybrids by blending colors, such as a red rose and white lily to create pink lilies.
2. Fall Aesthetic
These ideas from the official Fae Farm Twitter profile showcased a few seasons of their farm during the seasons. We wanted to focus on the Fall aesthetic since it brings out so many warm colors. If you want to make a nice Fae Farm layout, try using the seasons to help with your aesthetic. This can be done by choosing vegetables that are available during a specific time. You can create an organized look by trying not to bunch all of your plants together. Finally, make sure you keep different types of fruits and vegetables separated to avoid clutter.
3. Profitable Layout
Once you have gotten the hang of placing plots and learning about various fruits, vegetables, and flowers you can start deciding which ones to plant for profit. This is the type of layout we prefer creating because we want to be able to sell our profitable items immediately after they’re ready to be harvested. In addition to selling, this layout is ideal if you want to have a realistic-looking farm. Let’s face it, farms are huge. You want to make sure your farm is large enough that it’s manageable and organized so you know where everything is located.
4. Paths Are Your Friends
This is probably one of the hardest layouts for us to figure out because we are so bad at using dividers to organize our plants. If you implement using paths and dividers you can really come up with a beautiful landscape for your farm. The creator @LilianeDreams used rocks around her flowers to give some dimension and half walls to separate her vegetables from her flowers. It’s a clever way to use up space without making everything feel claustrophobic.

5. Create Patterns
Another farm layout you can try to use to express your creativity is by designing different shapes. You don’t have to be an expert at building, you just need to have an idea. If you want to create designs, such as the farm above, try drawing out your idea first. Secondly, you’re going to want to apply it to your game to see if you can recreate the shape you’re looking for. Lastly, practice makes perfect, and even if it doesn’t look right the first time, you can always try again.
