Top 10 Hogwarts Legacy Memes

Memes will always exist in media. It’s an outlet for people to express what we’re all thinking whether it’s good or bad. When Hogwarts Legacy came out we were immediately blessed with an array of memes that just made sense. There were memes talking about life at Hogwarts, memes about leaks when Hogwarts Legacy got delayed, and how we felt after we pre-ordered the game. Here are some of the funniest memes we have found over the internet. Here’s the top 10 Hogwarts Legacy memes.

1. Videogame Dialogue

If you’ve been playing Hogwarts Legacy you’ve probably come across students or civilians repeating themselves. It’s almost as funny as when you’re walking around Skyrim hearing civilians say “someone stole your sweetroll?” Now, we’re hearing tings such as “It seems like all roads lead to Hogsmeade.” Every time you go to the city you can be sure that your character will say this. Try listening to civilians and let us know what dialogue has been repeated.

2. A in Herbology

When we had our first class in Herbology we were struck by lightning. The Herbology teacher is drop dead gorgeous. She radiates cottage-core vibes. We chose Slytherin as our house but after coming across Mirabel Garlick–we’re team Hufflepuff. This meme encompasses everything we felt when we first laid eyes on the beautiful Mirabel. Sorry not sorry, mommy.

3. Interesting Choice

We were convinced that we’d show up to school in the drippiest looking outfit. Sleek looking robe, tailored student uniform, combined with a matching house inspired scarf. Before we learned how to make our clothes invisible we were running around in the silliest garbs. The glasses in this game are abysmal. Our characters looked so out-of-place when they were wearing questionable clothes. We were the strongest out there but fashionable? Not at all.

4. Witchcraft

There was a rumor going around that you could kill all the students. It was going to feel exactly like a Yandere Simulation. Kill anyone who doesn’t worship Sebastian. The amount of people who wanted the game just for the purpose of casting curses was questionable. It made us question if you were a good person or not. We wanted to create curses, kill people, and conjure up fire. At least we can kill goblins, conjure fire, and cast some curses. Side eyeing everyone who wanted to kill classmates.

5. STOP IT!

Before the game came out there was major controversy between the creator of Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling and her views specifically on trans rights and other issues she’s tweeted or said in the past. The game even created boycotts, as well as, had mobs making streamers cry for trying to play a game. They would bully and make anyone who has played the game feel as if they’re transphobic. Players of Hogwarts Legacy just wished they could silence every bully out there. Play the game, or don’t, but don’t bully others for wanting to play the game.

6. Pull up

We already know how to cast ancient magic. We got all of our skills ready. We’re just waiting for Voldemort to pull up. He doesn’t have a clue what’s coming. The array of spells and curses you can learn in the game will help you tremendously in battle. You get to take down goblins, trolls, monsters, but where is Voldemort? The real villain of Harry Potter. If we see him we’re coming for him.

7. Revelio!

We’re getting pretty sick and tired of hearing Revelio every two minutes or less. Whenever you enter a part of the castle you’re trying to play hide-and-seek with field guide pages. This is giving us anxiety. We don’t want to feel like we’re missing something when we enter a part of the castle. Here’s a secret you probably didn’t know about. When you cast Revelio and you hear a little bell it means you’re very close to discovering a field page. If you hear nothing it means there’s nothing to find. Good luck.

8. SO MANY CHOICES

We’re a victim of this one. We decided when it gets dark and we’re heading to Hogsmeade we’re going to dress up in luxurious fashion. We’re talking fur robes, tailored suits, and top hats. When the sun goes up we’re changing back into our uniform and heading to class. This creates a bit of realism in the game because school kids who wear uniforms typically want to get out of them the minute class ends. When we’re out-and-about it’s normal attire. Anytime we’re in the school it’s back to the uniform. We were tired of the other Hogwarts students side eyeing us when we showed up to class in a suit of armor.

9. Forspoken Versus Hogwarts Legacy

How do we explain this one…The picture speaks for itself. In Forspoken you can’t create a character. Instead, we’re given this..abomination. People didn’t like the character for being unlikeable and just horrible. It just wasn’t a compelling game, however in Hogwarts Legacy, the character customization is impressive. Even the teachers or NPC characters roaming around all look like they were treated with care. Forspoken had a great idea…just terrible execution.

10. You’re a…Wizard?

This one made us giggle. We also want to point out that Skyrim has around 175 different spells you can cast without the use of mods. Hogwarts Legacy has a few iconic spells that we’ve seen in the Harry Potter movie and read about in books…but it’s such a let down that we only have 26 spells. Most of the spells are also just to be used to decorate your Room of Requirement since Conjuring spells are strictly forbidden outside of the room. We’re happy with the game we got but we would have loved it if we had different spells to cast during fights.
