Every Cleaner in Back 4 Blood has a handful of unique perks, some that only apply to them, and others that apply to the entire team. When assembling your team, you should consider the Cleaners you’re choosing in order to maximize your overall efficiency.

Evangelo
- Can break out of grabs once every 60 seconds
- Breaks out of grabs 75% faster
- Regains stamina 25% faster
- Team Effect: All teammates move 5% faster
Holly
- Every kill restores 10 stamina
- 10% bonus damage resistance
- Team Effect: +25 stamina to all teammates
Walker
- Headshots on normal Ridden and weak spot shots on Mutant Ridden boost accuracy by 20% for five seconds
- 10% bonus damage to all enemies
- Team Effect: +10 max health to all teammates
Mom
- Can instantly revive a downed teammate once per level
- +1 support item slot (First Aid Kits, Pain Meds, etc.)
- Team Effect: Every teammate can be knocked down without dying one extra time
Doc
- Can heal teammates at critical health without support items
- Improved healing efficiency
- Team Effect: All teammates have greater resistance to Trauma, reductions to your max health
Hoffman
- Every Ridden killed has a chance to drop ammo
- +1 offense item slot (Grenades, Pipe Bombs, etc.)
- Team Effect: All teammates can carry 10% more ammo
Jim
- Headshots on normal Ridden and weak spot shots on Mutant Ridden boost damage by 2.5% until you take a hit
- Aim down sights 25% faster
- Team Effect: All teammates deal more damage to weak spots
Karlee
- Can sense hazards and Mutant Ridden nearby and through walls
- +1 tool item slot (Ammo Pouches, Defibrillators, etc.)
- Team Effect: All teammates use items and interact with objects 50% faster
