After much anticipation, Apex Legends Mobile is officially set to launch on Tuesday, May 17th. As a result of the hit battle royale game coming to all Android and iOS devices, Respawn Entertainment is kicking off the first season with a bang. Introducing the first-ever Apex Legends Mobile exclusive Legend named Fade.
So, here is everything you need to know about Fade and all of his unique abilities in the game.
Apex Mobile: All Fade Abilities, Ultimate, and Lore
Fade (also known as Ignacio Huamani or the Phasing Punisher) is a character centered completely around offense. Often described as rude and impulsive, Fade can certainly be a bit of a hothead at times. Although, it’s not without reason. After discovering and dawning the simulacrum suit, he witnessed his entire family get killed by a bunch of mercs and now seeks to avenge them alongside Apex Games.
With Fade’s simulacrum suit and Phase technology being at the forefront of his aggressive style of combat. He carries some truly incredible abilities as Apex Mobile’s first-ever Legend. Here are all of his main abilities and their effects in the game.
Slipstream (Passive)
Fade’s Passive ability is the Slipstream. Which provides him with a short and sudden burst of speed after sliding across the ground. Even though this is a very simple move to perform, it does require a 10-second cooldown period after use. So, unlike other Legends, you won’t be able to repeatedly slide. Nevertheless, it should make you more agile and evasive in combat.
Flash Back (Tactical)
Next, we have Fade’s Tactical ability called Flash Back. Which allows him to travel back (unseen) to a recently-visited area for about 7-8 seconds. Similar to Wraith and Ash’s void teleportation abilities, veteran players are likely to be familiar with this maneuver. As it’s a proven method to get yourself out of sticky situations.
Phase Chamber (Ultimate)
Lastly, there’s Fade’s Ultimate ability, the Phase Chamber. This special ability essentially releases a Phase cage that can send all Legends inside of the Void. Which can help you with crowd control and protect your teammates from taking on too much damage in combat.
With Apex Legends Mobile set to launch in less than 24 hours. Be sure to stay tuned as we continue to update you with more information as it gets released. For now, check out our news section to discover what else is happening in the gaming world.
