Apex Legends Explosive Ammo Leaked

Apex Legends data miner KralRindo just leaked a new type of weapon ammo that will apparently be making its way into the game soon. The most recent System Override Collection event was the debut of Octane’s new heirloom, and it also included some new game files.

Aside from the new Octane Butterfly Knife, there were some hidden files containing some new voice lines and in-game quips. Most importantly, there was a new ammo type: Explosive Ammo.

Apex Legends current ammo types are as follows:

• Light Ammo
• Heavy Ammo
• Energy Ammo
• Shotgun Ammo
• Sniper Ammo
• Charged Sniper Ammo
• Explosive Ammo (NEW)

Players are speculating this to mean there will be some explosive weapons coming to the game sometime soon, possibly in the form of a rocket launcher and grenade launcher.

We will have to wait and see if Respawn Entertainment actually decides to go this route or not, as they have been intentionally leaking data in their game files to mislead data miners and leakers.
