Apex Legends Duos will be added to the game in an upcoming update, according to an official EA blog post.
When Does Apex Legends Duos Release?
Starting on April 7th, Duos will be permanently added to the game with a map rotation that allows players to choose to play Duos or Trios on either Kings Canyon or Worlds Edge.
The Old Ways Lore Event will also feature additional updates and features such as:
- New Town Takeover: Bloodhound’s Trials
- Exclusive Event Prize Pack
- Direct Purchase Shop
- New Event Limited Cosmetics
- Return of Legendary Hunt Skins
New Town Takeover – Bloodhound’s Trials
Battle it out against hoards of prowlers and other players for high-tier loot. Explore the area when Bloodhound is on your side.
Event Prize Pack
Players can complete daily challenges to earn cosmetics based on stories from Stories from the Outlands: The Old Ways video. The Grand Soiree will be making a comeback with the following rewards:
Players can earn up to 1,000 points per challenge set, which refreshes daily. You can also complete your Battle Pass missions at the same time.
Direct Purchase Shop
Various new cosmetics and exclusive skins will be available for direct purchase on a set schedule. Skins will all be tied into The Old Ways video posted below.
All 8 Legendary Hunt Skins will be available for direct purchase, as well as two recolored versions of the Wraith and R-301 skins that were awarded to Battle Pass players.
