All Medium Maps in Phasmophobia

For medium players.

Surprisingly, ghosts aren’t the only horrors that players will have to worry about in Phasmophobia; the game’s endlessly chilling maps can be every bit as chilling as the ghosts and ghouls that haunt them.

Among Phasmophobia’s medium-sized maps, players will find themselves navigating truly terrifying landscapes that are almost scarier than the game’s supernatural antagonists. Each of these maps presents a unique set of challenges and paranormal encounters that will put even the bravest ghost hunters to the test; keep reading to discover them all if you dare!

All Medium Maps in Phasmophobia

Like many ghost-hunting games, Phasmophobia offers a healthy number of small, medium, and large maps for players to explore. If you’re getting bored of playing on Phasmophobia’s small maps but don’t feel like you’re ready for the big map yet, then it may be time to get started on the game’s medium maps!

There are currently three medium maps in Phasmophobia: Brownstone High School, Maple Lodge Campsite, and the Prison. Each of these maps comes with its own unique set of charms, though you definitely don’t want to underestimate them; these maps are a lot more complex and immersive than they seem on the surface.

Here are overviews of all three medium maps in Phasmophobia:

Brownstone High School

Brownstone High School is a classic setting for ghost-hunting aficionados. This medium-sized map offers a labyrinthine layout with multiple floors, classrooms, bathrooms, and tons of dark and narrow hallways. The vastness of the school provides ample hiding spots for players, but it also makes it more difficult to track down the ghost.

This map has over 60+ rooms, so it’s recommended that you bring along some friends to help cover more ground. Investigating this map requires a careful exploration strategy and keen observation skills, as ghosts can manifest in various locations, making each playthrough a heart-pounding experience!

Maple Lodge Campsite

For those who prefer the great outdoors, the Maple Lodge Campsite map offers a breath of fresh (and haunted) air. This medium map immerses players in a deserted campsite surrounded by dense forests, which provides players with both plenty of hiding spots and tons of escape routes.

The sprawling grounds include desolate tents, abandoned cabins, and even a lightable campfire, providing a stark contrast to the enclosed, claustrophobic spaces of other maps. Navigating the campsite brings its own set of challenges, however, as the limited visibility and wide-open space combine to create an unsettling vulnerability. The Mape Lodge Campsite is certainly one of the most interesting medium maps in Phasmophobia, but you’ll definitely be on the edge of your seat for your entire investigation.

Prison

If you thought non-haunted prisons were scary, then wait until you get a load of this one. Stepping into the Prison map in Phasmophobia is like entering a nightmare within a nightmare; this map consists of two terrifying floors and nearly 30 total rooms.

The confined spaces and long, narrow corridors can make escaping a ghost during a hunt trickier than in other maps. There may be an innumerable number of cells to hide in, but don’t expect them to save you if a ghost comes looking for you (it turns out iron bars aren’t very good at keeping ghosts at bay). The Prison is one of the most complex medium maps in Phasmophobia, so you’ll want to make sure you’re keeping your guard up at all times during an investigation.
