All GPU Locations in Warzone 2.0 DMZ – Location Guide

Some method to the madness

The GPU in Warzone 2.0 DMZ is a tool that on its own is rather useless. But with the recently added Bartering System as of Season 3, the previously useless materials you come across in your runs have been given a use. Now, players are able to use the Buy Station to barter their way into gaining higher useful equipment that can last across multiple deployments. So long as you preserve your life, taking care to not get downed when solo or risk your loot getting stolen by passer-by’s (other Operators), resulting in the loss of Plated Vests and Skeleton Keys. This is Vincent’s guide on where to find the GPU in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

What is the GPU in DMZ?

Speaking on Skeleton Keys, these are what you need GPU for in order to barter at the Buy Station to trade in for a Skeleton Key. These act as a Master Key across the Maps available in DMZ. Although they do not open every single door in DMZ, they are incredibly useful for those who want to skip the search for specific Keys. Getting the GPU is also incredibly important for those trying to get a third Insured Weapon Slot. You need to find a total of x5 GPU, meaning that you will be doing a lot of deploying into the DMZ and safely exfiling with the GPU in your Secure Backpack for safe keeping.

Where to Find GPU in DMZ?

But the search for GPUs can be a tough one, especially if you do not know where to begin. Thankfully, since the introduction to Ashika Island, the GPU has become a steady staple item to find in your deployments. Because of this, its spawns have not really changed position with every Season and smaller updates. For this reason, players can find the GPU inside locations:

  • Tsuki Castle in Ashika Island
  • Building 21
  • Chemical Storage Warehouse in Al Mazrah

There is a problem however in getting into these places. The search for GPU requires you to have the special DMZ Key needed for each location listed above. So when trying to find GPU to barter for the Skeleton Key, it is actually helpful to have these Keys on you previously. We recommend heading to the Downtown Post Office in Al Mazrah and checking the Mail Boxes for Keys. Alternatively, you can search general lootable containers as Keys can be found in these (Supply Crates, Duffel Bags and Toolboxes). Completing Faction Missions are a good way of getting Keys, including the Skeleton Key itself, however its method is slower than deploying and searching around the Zones for Key drops.

Finally, players can complete a specific set of steps in searching for a GPU inside the newest Map, Vondel. Here, you are able to hit specific locked spaces and find another Key inside to then follow its path to the next locked space and find the next Key that will take you to another area. This will eventually result in locating the GPU. If you find the Bridge Stash Key for Vondel, you will want to open this cache which will start the process for finding a GPU. The Keys you should find upon opening the Bridge Stash and going to every locked space that the Key sends you to are:

  • Diver Crate
  • Sewer Maintenance
  • Mayor’s Briefcase
  • Windmill Gag
  • Barista Bag
  • Stage Bag (A)
  • Stage Bag (B)

Alternatively, completing the Phalanx Mission ‘Turn the Tide’ will let you skip multiple steps and get the Barista Bag Key so that you can go from there. The GPU can be found inside the Stage Bags in E2 and C5 of Vondel.
