Checkpoints, bonfires, Dragon Pits. Points of interest throughout the world, and printed on our maps, is something that allow us to make sense of the land we are currently in, and also brings several mechanics. One of those is the ability to fast travel, which is a huge time saver in games that have a huge open-world. Things in Wild Hearts get a little more complicated than this. Come find this out today, while we find all the Dragon Pits locations in Wild Hearts.
All Dragon Pits Locations in Wild Hearts
Dragon Pits, unlike its name indicates, are not places where you will find dragons. These are the way you will be able to fast travel across the map, among other things. However, the way you will unlock this ability is very special. You see, to unlock a fast travel location at the Dragon Pits, you will need to build a Hunter’s Tent on said Dragon Pit. However, to be able to do this, each Dragon Pit will need to be expanded, since the Tent consumes materials. Once you have expanded the Dragon Pit’s material output, you will be able to build the Tent. Each Dragon Pit will have different stats depending on the reserves available: earth, fire, water, wind, and wood. Some Dragon Pits will be able to house a Hunter’s Tent, some of them won’t. That is why upgrading them is important.
These Dragon Pits locations are found in the map. They are greyed out if you haven’t visited them, red if you don’t have the materials necessary to upgrade them, and yellow if you do. You will be able to track all of this and upgrade them from the map. In fact, you will be able to see the closest Dragon Pit in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Since this game has been out for just a couple of days, the total amount of Dragon Pit Locations is unknown. However, the first area of the game, Harugasumi Way, sports a total of 13 Dragon Pits, and they have been well documented because, well, it is the first area of the game after all. We will update this list as soon as all Dragon Pits are located, depending on the game’s popularity and the gamer’s ability to complete the game in record time. You can follow the indications on the previous paragraph to continue finding more Dragon Pits. Here are the available Dragon Pits locations.
