How to Use Flying Vines in Wild Hearts

Time to fly around! Sort of.

While travelling through a huge land and being able to explore the world is enticing, sometimes you will encounter certain paths that will act as dead ends. Maybe because there is no way to move forward due to a very steep mountain. Perhaps there is a huge abyss that separates us from our objective. Well, thankfully, our hunter in Wild Hearts is an expert dealing with the latter. Here is how to use Flying Vines in Wild Hearts.

How to Use Flying Vines in Wild Hearts

If you thought we were going to use vines to swing around the world of Wild Hearts like Tarzan, well, you are not alone, and we are both wrong. In fact, Flying Vines are more like zip lines, which will help you traverse long distances that otherwise would be impossible to jump or travel through. Before you even try to use them, the Flying Vines are automatically unlocked once you begin the hunt for the Kingtusk, which is part of the Main Story. This means that you don’t have to do anything specific to unlock them, only to play the game naturally.

In order to build and use a Flying Vine, you will have to hold the karakuri button and press up on the D-Pad. You will then have to select the Flying Vine with the left or right button of the D-Pad as well. Then, hold the Place button to construct it. Once built, you will have to press and hold the interaction button to enter the Flying Vine’s firing mode. You will have to aim to where you want to zip line to. A white reticle will signal an appropriate target, while a red one will indicate otherwise, and the Flying Vine will not fire. Finally, to ride the Flying Vine, just press the weapon sheath and jump buttons. Your hunter will traverse through the zip line and arrive at the desired location.

Please note that in order to place and construct the Flying Vines, you will have to have enough leaf resource. Go ahead and collect it and then construct your Flying Vines in order to zip line through the world of Wild Hearts. Good luck flying around!
