Where to find Netherite in Minecraft

If you are on a quest to find Netherite, you better prepare yourself for a long journey. You will need to head through a Nether portal to find Nethersite. You can craft Netherite using ancient debris after the release of the Minecraft Nether update. This new material is a step up from diamonds, so it might be worthwhile to get your hands on some.

The fastest way to get Netherite is to head into the Nether with a Diamond Pickaxe. Find an area that is not near any lava so you can start digging. You can find a vein of Ancient Debris between the Y levels of 8 and 22. Dig around between these levels, and when you finally find some Ancient Debris, you can use your Diamond Pickaxe to mine it and then make some Netherite.

How to Make Netherite in Minecraft

To make Netherite in Minecraft, follow these steps:

• Smelt Ancient Debris into Nether Scraps
• Craft Netherite Ingots with 4 Nether Scraps and 4 Gold Ingots

With four Gold Ingots and Nether Scraps, head to a crafting table to make a Netherite Ingot. To make Nether Scraps, you need to find and mine Ancient Debris in the Nether. You can then refine the Ancient Debris into Nether Scraps using a Minecraft Blast Furnace.

How to upgrade Diamond to Netherite Gear in Minecraft

Now that you have this fancy new material, you might be wondering how you can use it. You can craft Netherite items, which are a step up from Diamond items. They have a high enchantment value and have more durability and toughness than Diamond. Wearing Netherite gear also decreases the knockback after getting hit.

To craft the Netherite armor, tools, and weapons, you will need to upgrade from Diamond. Put the Diamond item into the Smithing Table with Netherite Ingots to upgrade the items into the Netherite version. Enchantments do not get lost when upgrading from Diamond to Netherite.
