Here is how you can get the new Robocop skin in Fortnite.

The Item Shop

The only way to play as Robocop in Fortnite is to purchase him from the game’s item shop. The skin itself costs 1,500 V-Bucks. There is a bundle available featuring all of the Robocop items such as the LEG-209 pickaxe, the Lil’ ED-209 emote, and the Robocop skin. This bundle can be purchased for 1,800 V-Bucks and is the cheapest way to get all of the Robocop items.

What Are V-Bucks and How Do You Buy Them?

V-Bucks is the currency within Fortnite used to purchase items from the item shop. Here are the prices for V-Bucks:

  • 1,000 V-Bucks-$7.99
  • 2,800 V-Bucks-$19.99
  • 5,000 V-Bucks-$31.99
  • 13,500 V-Bucks-$79.99

You can purchase V-Bucks digitally on your platform of choice such as the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store using a debit or credit card. If you can only use cash, stores like Walmart, Target, and Gamestop sell virtual currency cards at their locations usually in the gift card section. Once the card has been purchased, just redeem it on whatever platform you use to play Fortnite and the V-Bucks will be added to your account.

Can You Earn V-Bucks Without Buying Them?

If you’re desperate to buy the Robocop skin but don’t want to spend money, you could try earning free V-Bucks. Any website claiming to give out free V-Bucks should be treated with caution. The only sure way to earn them for free is through playing Fortnite. The game’s Battle Pass allows players to earn unlocks from it for free. By progressing through the Battle Pass’s objectives for the season you could earn some V-Bucks. This usually isn’t a large amount but it’s still better than nothing.
