How to Get the Body Rune Legendary Ward in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Learn how to get the Body Rune, one of the best Rune Wards in the game.

In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, there are a handful of special Legendary Wards known as the Runes. These Rune Wards are extremely potent barriers, not only providing ample defense to you personally, but offering powerful buffs and bonuses to both you and your party members. Of course, Tina ain’t gonna let you have such crazy defense for free, so if you want these Runes, you’re going to have to put in the work. Here’s how to get the Body Rune Legendary Ward in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

One of the best Rune Wards is the Body Rune. With the Body Rune equipped, every time you kill an enemy, everyone in your party receives both a 15% max HP restoration and a 20% fire ability damage buff for a little while. We’re talking self-sustaining chaos here, and isn’t that just the best kind? Here’s the rub, though: all of the Rune Wards, Body Rune included, are primarily World Drop items. This means that the only real way to get them is having them drop from enemies or Lucky Dice. Normally, this would make getting the Body Rune mathematically unlikely at best, but there is a way to fudge the odds in your favor.

To get the Body Rune in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

  1. Finish the main campaign to unlock the Chaos Chamber
  2. Find the golden rune in one of the Chaos Chamber’s areas, interact with it, and clear its special encounter
  3. Finish your Chaos Chamber run and enter the red portal to fight Bunnidhogg, who has a much higher chance of dropping the Body Rune.

The first thing you need to do is complete the main story campaign, as doing so will unlock the infinitely-randomizing dungeon, the Chaos Chamber. One of the special Raid bosses you can fight at the end of a Chaos Chamber run, Bunnidhogg, Keeper of the Sands, has a much higher chance of dropping the Body Rune compared to any other encounter in the game.

To make Bunnidhogg appear, search each of the areas of the Chaos Chamber until you find a glowing yellow rune. This rune can appear on the ground or on the walls. Interact with it and it’ll zoom off a short distance before transforming into a large rock. Shoot the rock until it breaks and it’ll turn into a glowing sigil thing that will shine a light around itself in a circle.

Find cover and hide behind it whenever the light shines your way, then shoot the sigil until it breaks. Do this, and after you finish your Chaos Chamber run, a special red portal will appear. Enter the portal, and you’ll be face-to-face with Bunnidhogg. Successfully kill the beast, and if luck shines on you, it’ll drop the Body Rune. If it doesn’t, not to worry, you can summon it again for another try.
