What are the Chaos Chamber Symbols in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

What are the Chaos Chamber Symbols in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

Here's a breakdown of the four kinds of symbols you can see on portals in the Chaos Chamber in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

After you finish the main story of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, you’re probably going to be jonesing for something else to do, something else to put bullets into. It’s for this reason that the game has the Chaos Chamber, a randomly-generating dungeon accessible in the endgame that changes every time you enter it. Now, while being completely random is fine, it is nice to at least have an idea of what you’re going to be getting yourself into, which is why the Chaos Chamber’s portals use symbols to give you an idea of what’s ahead. So, what are the Chaos Chamber symbols in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

Every run through the Chaos Chamber is broken up by individual encounters and between these encounters are portals leading you to the next arena. These portals are marked by one of four symbols, indicating what’s waiting for you at the start or end of the next encounter, depending on the symbol. Understanding these symbols is important because you don’t want to accidentally strand yourself in a difficult encounter when you’re already in dire straits, though you might also want to crank up the difficulty to increase your rewards.

What are the Chaos Chamber Symbols in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands?

There are four kinds of symbols you can see on portals in the Chaos Chamber:

  • Dragon Lord
  • Butt Stallion
  • Chest
  • Crystal Chest

If you take a portal with a Dragon Lord symbol, the big bad evil dude himself will appear and make you choose one from a pair of curses. Curses apply difficulty modifiers and penalties that generally make your run more difficult, such as empowered enemies or having a pool of lava spawn under your feet when you stand still. However, the more curses you have, the more crystals you can earn, and the more likely enemies are to drop crystals when killed.

If you take a portal with a Butt Stallion symbol, the glorious diamond unicorn queen will descend to offer you a choice between two blessings. Blessings are the counterpart of curses, providing you with helpful buffs and tweaks like boosted critical rates or stronger melee damage, though, unlike curses, blessings don’t affect your likelihood of getting crystals.

If you take a portal with a regular chest symbol, then after the encounter is cleared, a destructible die will appear for you to smash open. This die can contain all kinds of helpful loot, including guns, spells, accessories, and more, and if you’re lucky, they can even be Legendary quality.

If you take a portal with a crystal chest symbol, you’ll get a destructible die after the encounter, just like the regular chest portal. The difference is that, when smashed, the dice will drop a whole mess of crystals, which you can never have enough of in the Chaos Chamber.
