I’m not a criminal, so I don’t know how easy it is to quietly steal money from places all over the world, then change your entire identity to throw off pursuers. If we go by what we see in spy and crime moves and certain seasons of Lupin III, though, it’s not that difficult, and if it’s not that difficult, it’s no fun. To make things interesting, let’s try stealing a lot of money in a lot of ways over a long period of time. Here’s how to complete the Can’t Catch Me Challenge in BitLife.
The Can’t Catch Me Challenge is the newest crime-centric challenge in life simulator BitLife, intended to test your abilities to not only rob people blind, but leave the ensuing federal investigators without any idea of where to possibly look for you. Completing this challenge could take a literal lifetime, as it requires a lot of training, patience, and some chance-based endeavors, so try to start as a young adult if you can.
How to Complete the Can’t Catch Me Challenge in BitLife
The Can’t Catch Me Challenge includes the following five objectives:
- Embezzle over $100k
- Rob over $50k from banks
- Successfully run from the police at least two times
- Change your name at least five times
- Emigrate at least five times
The first step on the itinerary of doom is embezzlement. That’s stealing money from a company you work for, for those who don’t have a desk job. To do this, you’ll need to have consistent, full-time employment. When you have a job, you can go to the Crimes section in your Activities tab and select Embezzle Money. You’ll be asked how much money you want to attempt to embezzle; whether or not you succeed in this (and your odds aren’t great to begin with) depends entirely on how good your relationship is with your coworkers and how much money you attempt to take. If you don’t mind taking it slow, just steal small amounts of money over the course of several years to keep your risks down.
Next, it’s time for some good ol’ fashioned bank robbery, which will likely lead to running from the cops. Once again, select Crimes from the Activities tab to attempt to rob a bank. You’ll need to select a mask, a weapon, and a driver for your heist; you may have a few misfires before you find the ideal loadout, leading to a police pursuit. When the cops are on your tail, you’ll get a few different options for evading them. Unfortunately, the correct answer in these scenarios is a complete toss-up, so just pick whichever feels right to you and cross your fingers. At least you only have to get lucky twice.
Emigrating can be done through official or back channels, either from the Activities tab. Official channels have a fee and a waiting period, but if your record’s clear, you won’t be bothered, whereas the back route has a risk of you getting caught. You might actually want to take care of the emigration first, just in case you get the feds on your back and can’t leave the country easily. As for changing your name, you should save that one for last, since it’s the easiest one to do. Just go to the Identity tab and change your name to whatever you want. Easy peasy.
