The Bard is one of two support classes in Lost Ark. For those looking to play a female healer or ranged support, the Bard is the class option for you. Deal damage to build up the meter into three gauges, and dump your meter on a strong attack or heal for your teammates. Below, we’ll give you the best Lost Ark Bard Engravings so you’ll know how to prioritize them if you end up playing support.

Like every other class, the Bard has two exclusive Engravings available: True Courage and Desperate Salvation. The former is the support engraving, whereas the latter is the DPS. Considering it is a support class by nature, the top-tier DPS build will not match that of an actual DPS class. And for that reason, all players will be using Desperate Salvation. Lost Ark Bard Engravings

Like every class in Lost Ark, two exclusive Engravings are available for the Bard. Players are not limited to those two only, and there are dozens of other engravings available to boost your stats and compliment your playstyle. These are listed in priority of how you should get them. As you level and unlock more engravings, you can go down the list and add the others. For the Bard, we’ll be focusing on building Engravings around Desperate Salvation.

Bard Exclusive Engravings

• Desperate Salvation – When the recovery effect ends, an additional recovery effect is activated, recovering a percent of your max health.
• True Courage – Serenade of Courage makes outgoing Damage and Crit Rate increase.

Recommended Bard Engravings

• Desperate Salvation – When the recovery effect ends, an additional recovery effect is activated, recovering a percent of your max health.
• Awakening – Awakening Skill cooldown reduced, and you get bonus uses.
• Emergency Rescue – When HP falls below 30%, gain a shield equal to 20% of max health for six seconds. If the shield is not destroyed, recover 50% of the remaining shield at HP.
• Specialist – Shield and health regeneration effects applied to self and party members are more powerful. If target health is below 50%, the power of effects is increased.
• Heavy Armor – All Defense increases. The additional Defense is immune to Defense Reduction effects.
• Max MP Increase – Max MP increased.

Again, you’ll probably want to play Desperate Salvation Engraving, due to the upper limit cap on maximum DPS otherwise. Bards excel at support, so you’ll want to play to your strengths. For the Engravings, the priority is Awakening for bonus uses and sustaining your party. Other Engravings are there to increase healing and shield buffs.
