How to Get All Endings in FNAF: Security Breach Ruin DLC – Ending Guide

Who can you trust anymore?

The story of the Mimic continues in the FNAF timeline. No longer do we worry about measly bites as the story has escalated far beyond the reach of animatronics. As technology becomes more and more advanced, so too does the virtual anomaly of the Mimic which continues to thrive and dominate the Fazbear Entertainment industry. Even though everything Fazbear related has turned to dust or been charred beyond recognition, the Mimic continues to cause mayhem in its virtual form. Since Sister Location, it has manipulated its way into the Fazbear system and controlled its fellow animatronics from within. The Ruin DLC continues the story and sets the record straight for who is the real villain of the franchise in its current state. This is Vincent’s guide on how to get every ending in FNAF: Security Breach – Ruin DLC.

Endings Guide for FNAF: Security Breach – Ruin

With a total of 3 endings to get in the DLC alone, the Ruin content for Security Breach adds a much needed layer to the Mimic story within the FNAF franchise. With many fans consuming FNAF content directly from the video games, rather than reading all of the available comics and media, there are a lot of questions regarding the switch from animatronics to a more virtual reality narrative of glitches, bugs and the most persist piece of malware in all of existence. But in the Ruin DLC, the endings shown are more bad than good for the fate of little Cassie. Wondering how to get them all? This is our endings guide for Security Breach – Ruin DLC.

Two endings of the Ruin DLC are achieved based on your actions you take in the final chase scene with the Mimic. Once it is revealed that the real villain all along was the Mimic who had taken Gregory’s voice, words and behavior to trick Cassie into helping him escape. Whilst the third ending is achieved upon finding the secret scooper room. But whether or not there are more hidden endings to be revealed for the Ruin DLC is unknown.

Canon Ending

The canon ending for Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach – Ruin happens by doing exactly what you are meant to do in the game. Whilst many may wish to ignore Gregory when he is giving you instructions at the end to get to the elevator and escape, most will likely follow him. Whilst it is uncertain if the Gregory over the speaker system is in fact him this time or if it is the Mimic tricking her once more, the result is Cassie being dropped down in the elevator shaft with her fate in the story unknown. To get this ending, all you need to do is listen to Gregory’s instructions in the final chase sequence where you need to make your way out of the cave system and into the elevator shaft.

Illusion Ending (BAD)

The illusion ending is achieved by ignoring Gregory’s instructions to get to the elevator shaft. However, there is a specific point in the chase sequence that you need to ignore, this is after the second time that Gregory tells you to go right. Upon which, Gregory will tell you to hurry where from here you need to turn left and head for the glitch in the passage, showcasing a cardboard cut-out of Freddy. Use the Vanny mask to unveil a scene similar to the hill endings in Security Breach. This time however, Gregory, Vanessa and Helpy will be waiting you on the other side, claiming to have found a safe place to hide. This ending of course is a facade, put in place by Mimic to keep you trapped here. Becoming the newest victim of Vanny, the Mimic keeps Cassie held hostage inside the mirage of safety.

Scooper Ending (GOOD)

The scooper ending is one of the harder endings to achieve in the Ruin DLC. This actually has steps outside of the final chase sequence. You need to use the Fazbear Camera Feeds to locate the hidden cameras inside Chapter 1, 3, 5 and 7. To find the hidden cameras on the Monitors, zoom out on the mini-map and select the camera furthest away from the four available cameras on the initial feed you were looking at. You will know when you have selected the correct feed upon seeing ????? on the feed. In Chapter 1, it is on the camera icon located at the east. Chapter 3 hidden camera can be found at the north-west side of the mini-map. Chapter 5’s camera is in the south. Finally, Chapter 7’s hidden camera is found north in the mini-map zoom out.

Interestingly, upon getting to the final chase sequence where Mimic is revealed, its appearance is incredibly different to the original Mimic that we see in the Ruin DLC. This time around it is seen in a makeshift mascot costume, crafted out of recycled mascot costumes scattered throughout the Pizzaplex. This is referencing the story of the Mimic where it killed a group of people after being beaten by Edwin Murray in a fit of rage over his son’s death. The Mimic would dress in costumes to mimic the appearance of other people but never being able to actually replicate that of how others would naturally dress. Instead, it opted to wear costumes such as jesters.

In the chase sequence, follow Gregory’s instructions but by seeing all of the hidden camera feeds, you will unlock the door on the left where the door on the right would normally be opened to get to the elevator shaft. The Mimic’s endoskeleton is ripped from the machine, much like the Circus Baby in Sister Location, but this time around there is nothing in place to protect the Mimic from the scooper.
