Fastest Cars in Forza Horizon 5

I’ve never driven a fast car before. I mean, I’ve driven a car fast, but I’ve never driven a car built for the express purpose of being fast. There’s something empowering about a vehicle like that, screaming down the highway at hundreds of miles per hour while still maintaining complete control. I don’t have the credit score to own a car like that, but thanks to Forza Horizon 5, I can get an idea of what it’s like. Here are some of the fastest cars in Forza Horizon 5.

Every car in Forza Horizon 5 maintains six stats:

  • Speed: The car’s top speed
  • Handling: How quickly and efficiently the car can turn
  • Acceleration: How quickly the car can get up to top speed
  • Launch: How quickly the car can move from a complete standstill
  • Breaking: How long it takes the car to brake to a complete stop at high speed
  • Offroad: How well the car handles unusual terrain

There are quite a few cars that have maxed out speed stats, but the real kings of highway couple that raw speed with high marks on other stats like strong handling or fast acceleration. After all, a formula car is one of the fastest land vehicles in the world, but that doesn’t mean much when they can’t turn.

Here are some of the fastest cars in Forza Horizon 5:

  • 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko
  • 2018 Bugatti Chiron
  • Koenigsegg Agera RS 2017
  • 1965 Hoonigan Ford Hoonicorn Mustang
  • Hennessey Venom GT 2021

2020 Koenigsegg Jesko

Right off the bat, the Jesko is one of the undisputed lords of Forza Horizon 5. Packing a perfect 10 in both speed and handling, not only can this car push 300 MPH, but it can stop and turn on a dime.

2018 Bugatti Chiron

High speed isn’t much of a boon if it takes you all day to reach your max. If you’re an impatient sort, and I know I am, the Chiron is just what you’re looking for. With a 9.9 in acceleration, this car goes from dead stop to dead heat in two shakes.

Koenigsegg Agera RS 2017

If you’re looking for Jesko muscle, but don’t want to spend Jesko money, the Agera RS is an attractive alternative. With the same speed and only .3 less handling, not to mention 800,000 less credits, the Agera RS is a good budget alternative to the king of the track, (relatively speaking, since it still costs 2,000,000 credits).

1965 Hoonigan Ford Hoonicorn Mustang

While the Hoonicorn Mustang doesn’t quite have the raw speed or handling of some of these other cars, it does have one leg up on them: offroading capability. With a 5.5 in offroading, not to mention a 10 in acceleration, this car can tackle the kind of hazardous terrain that would strip most supercars without sacrificing too much speed.

Hennessey Venom GT 2021

If you’re seeking balance in life, the 2021 Venom GT keeps things clean and smooth. Aside from offroading and acceleration, not a single one of its stats is below a 7, and it’s no slouch with a 9.8 speed either. The Venom GT is an excellent all-rounder choice for those who want a little bit of everything.
