How to get into Lost Ark Closed Beta

Today marks the Lost Ark closed beta launch, the massively multiplayer online action role-playing (MMOARPG) game from Tripod Studio and Smilegate RPG. The game has already been out in the Korean region for three years with beta tests in Japan and Russia. Finally, the game makes its way west and enters a closed beta state via Amazon Games and Steam.

ARPG fans are most eager to try this title out, especially if they didn’t get the opportunity to play it on Korean servers. The good news is that it’s pretty easy to get into the closed beta, and there are a few methods you can try to get access to it. The Lost Ark closed beta runs from November 4, 2021, and ends on November 11, 2021.

How to get into Lost Ark closed beta

To get into the Lost Ark closed beta, you can do any of the following:

1. Purchase a Lost Ark Founder’s Pack on Amazon or Steam
2. Sign up to become a tester
3. Get a key giveaway from a content creator or promotional event

Purchase Lost Ark Founder’s Pack

The easiest method to get access to the Lost Ark closed beta is by simply purchasing one of the Founder’s Packs on Amazon or Steam. Lost Ark is technically free-to-play, but you are guaranteed beta access if you purchase one of the Founder’s Packs. There are four options to choose from:

• Bronze – $14.99
• Silver – $24.99
• Gold – $49.99
• Platinum – $99.99

All versions of the Founder’s Packs grant beta access, and the higher tier packs grant more cosmetics. You can see a full list of them here on the Lost Ark website. The packs are available for purchase through Amazon or directly through Steam.

Sign up to become a tester

Another way to get access to the closed beta test is to become a tester. You can sign up to become a tester here, and you have a chance to receive a Steam Key to activate Lost Ark if you are selected as a tester. After redeeming your key, you will see “Lost Ark Closed Beta” in your Steam Library.

Key giveaways

The final and probably most challenging way to access the Lost Ark beta is by redeeming a giveaway key from a content creator. You can head over to Twitch and look through the Lost Ark category. Many streamers playing Lost Ark throughout the closed beta will be doing giveaways on their channel, including keys to access the closed beta. As always, you need to act quickly and redeem the giveaway before everyone else or get lucky if it’s a randomized giveaway.
