Marvel Future Revolution Captain America builds for PvP and PvE

Marvel Future Revolution Captain America: builds for PvP and PvE

The best Marvel Future Revolution Captain America builds, including skills and specializations for PvE and PvP content.

I didn’t care much for Captain America when I was a kid because he never struck me as anything more than a buff, patriotic dude with a shield. Thanks to his recent characterizations in the MCU, though, I have a much greater appreciation for who he is, where he came from, and what he wants. Of course, all that aside, he is still a buff, patriotic dude with a shield, and I guess that doesn’t really need to change. We will cover two recommended builds for Captain America in Marvel Future Revolution in this guide.

Cap is a solid beginner’s pick for Marvel Future Revolution thanks to his tanky build and easy-to-understand control scheme. He’s either punching dudes in the face, or slinging his shield at them for a short distance. Cap’s relative simplicity means any of his builds are viable for either PvE or PvP, so it’s more a matter of where you personally prefer to allocate his resources.

Marvel Future Revolution Captain America Build:

Best Captain America Skill Build 1

Combat Proficiency: Power-Up PunchThrows a powerful punch that deals 519% damage and knocks back enemies.
Unbreakable Will: SubdueDrains some of the Vibranium meter to inflict 660% damage and knockdown on nearby enemies.
Spearhead: ForefrontCharge toward enemies to deal 633% damage and knock them back. Increases the Vibranium meter.
Sentinel of Liberty: Pulverization VortexSpin into a vortex that deals 733% damage on all enemies it comes in contact with, dragging them along with you. Increases the Vibranium meter.
Reporting for Duty: Shield RicochetThrow your shield to deal 149% damage to enemies at long range while decreasing their DEF by 18.88% for 5 seconds and increasing the Vibranium meter.

Best Captain America Specializations 1

VanguardConverts 20% of your DEF into bonus ATK.
PassionAbsorbs 3% of all damage dealt as HP.
RegroupWhen using a Shield Absorption-class skill, you have a 50% chance to absorb an additional 20% to the Vibranium meter.
CharismaDecreases all damage received from nearby targets by 15%.

This Marvel Future Revolution Captain America build is for all-out offense. The cooldowns for these particular masteries are a bit on the long side, but you can rely on Cap’s high HP and DEF to tide you over in the interim, as well as his default Impact Reflection ability. Impact Reflection draws aggro from nearby foes, halving the damage they deal to you while doubling the damage you do to them. With extra health and damage resistance from Regroup and Charisma, you can keep yourself up and fighting while you wait for your heavy hitter moves to recharge (expedited by Regroup), then really let ‘em have it.

In this build, the Vibranium meter isn’t quite the star of the show, but rather an extra exclamation point on any string of attacks. When the meter builds up enough from using Reporting for Duty, Spearhead, and Sentinel of Liberty, you can temporarily take control of the battlefield with Unbreakable Will to knock everyone down and deal respectable damage.

Marvel Future Revolution Captain America Build 2:

Best Captain America Skill Build 2

Captain’s Leadership: Captain’s PatienceCreates a barrier around you and nearby allies equivalent to 22.68% of your max HP.
Spearhead: Lead the ChargeCharge toward enemies to deal 208% damage and knock them back. Increases the Vibranium meter.
Reporting for Duty: Shield SliceThrow your shield to deal 322% damage on enemies at long range and inflict Bleed. Increases the Vibranium meter.
Hero’s Duty: Mighty ComboUnleash a barrage of blows to deal 799% damage to nearby foes.
Sentinel of Liberty: Indomitability Consume the Vibranium meter to spin into a vortex that deals 1,051% damage to all foes it comes in contact with, knocking them down in the process.

Best Captain America Specializations 2

VanguardConverts 20% of your DEF into bonus ATK.
PassionAbsorbs 3% of all damage dealt as HP.
RegroupWhen using a Shield Absorption-class skill, you have a 50% chance to absorb an additional 20% to the Vibranium meter.
Battle PreparationIncreases DEF by 20% for 7 seconds after using a healing ability/item.

This build focuses less on single-strike damage output and more on overall DPS. These iterations of Spearhead and Reporting for Duty don’t deal as much damage, but they cool down much quicker. This more frequent usage leads to more frequent absorption of percentage to the Vibranium meter, which means more frequent usage of the absolutely devastating Sentinel of Liberty: Indomitability.

Passion and Captain’s Leadership will allow you to stay in the thick of things a little longer, doubly so if you have a teammate to support you, since your barrier will protect them and their heals will increase your DEF further thanks to Battle Preparation. In the occasional moments between skill cooldowns, the Bleed from Reporting for Duty: Shield Slice will help you maintain your DPS output.

Those are our two recommended Marvel Future Revolution Captain America builds. We’ll keep you updated with more as new content releases and the meta shakes up a bit. For other related guides, check out our Marvel Future Revolution Iron Man builds and Marvel Future Revolution Captain Marvel builds.
