Sunny wants you to get brain worms. It sounds a lot scarier than it is, but this challenge is certainly a tough one. The quest is the final stage of the six-part Legendary quest from Sunny, which involves learning a little more about the aliens. If you don’t see it in your quest log, you’ll likely need to begin the quest chain by picking up any of the payphones around the map. So, here’s how to get infected by a parasite and talk to Sunny in Fortnite for the week five quest in Chapter 2, Season 7.

How to get infected by a parasite and talk to Sunny in Fortnite

To get infected by a parasite, you’ll want to pay a visit to Zyg and Choppy over in Hydro 16. There are a few green blobs inside the building, and you can stand next to one to make them burst. An alien parasite will emerge and attach to your head, causing a little bit of damage over time. It will help if you have some bandages or medkits on hand to avoid dying at the next part.

With the parasite still attached to your skull, make your way over to Believer Beach to search for Sunny. She is near the pier on the beach, at the north end of Believer Beach. Sunny has a few questions she would like to ask the aliens, and this is her bright idea of communicating with them. 

After speaking with Sunny, you should see a prompt for quest completion on the top of your screen. You’ll get another 30,000 XP for completing this stage of the quest chain, which means you’ll have gotten a total of 180,000 XP for completing all six stages. Not bad for an hour’s worth of time if you ask me!
