Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 opens up a new Legendary Quest chain from Hayseed in week 4. In the fourth stage of this five-step quest, players will need to locate a Doomsday Preppers Guide. Luckily, there are two locations to find this book, and with our guide, it’s easy to identify. So, here’s where to find the Doomsday Preppers Guide location in Fortnite.

Again, this is part of a multi-step quest. If you do not see it in your quest log, you may need to complete the prior steps. The steps before this one include searching for clues at Steel Farm and placing missing person signs in Weeping Woods or Misty Meadows.

Where to find the Doomsday Preppers Guide in Fortnite

The Doomsday Preppers Guide can be found in Hydro 16 or Steamy Stacks in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7. You can visit either location, as you’ll only need to collect a single book to proceed to the next part of the challenge. Here is a map including markers for each location.

Hydro 16

Hydro 16 is an unmarked location on the Fortnite map, and you can find it east of Slurpy Swamp. It consists of a large hydropower plant. If you approach the location from the north, you can enter through the back door. Make a left, and check the room on your far right. The Doomsday Preppers Guide is sitting on the floor beside the desk.

Steamy Stacks

You can also find the Doomsday Preppers Guide over at Steamy Stacks. Go to the south side of town and look for building three (the one with the number 3 on it). Walk inside, head down the stairs, and you’ll find the book on the floor next to some wooden crates.
