Lost Ark is a free-to-play open-world action RPG, or MMOARPG, from South Korean developer and publisher Smilegate RPG. The game was initially released in South Korea at the end of 2018 and was very well received by its vast user base. Due to its success, Amazon Games has become involved as a publisher and is committed to bringing the experience to Western gamers. When is the Lost Ark release date in North America and Europe? Well, here’s what we know so far.
Since Lost Ark‘s release at the end of 2018, players worldwide have been trying all kinds of methods to gain access. While it is possible to play Lost Ark outside of South Korea with enough finagling, many gamers patiently await an opportunity to play it legitimately. When is the Lost Ark release date in North America and Europe?
Lost Ark does not have an official release date for North America and Europe regions at this time. The closed beta is underway, which means a launch is on the horizon, and rumor has it that we’ll be looking at a Fall 2021 release. However, these rumors are unconfirmed by the Lost Ark team, and their Steam page has a December 31, 2021 release date, which is likely a placeholder.
While Lost Ark is technically a free-to-play title, the Steam page reveals a few different options for purchase. There are three Lost Ark Founder’s Packs: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. These packs go for $25, $50, and $100, respectively, containing many bonus items and additional unlocks. Players who opt to bust open their wallets and drop some dough will receive better equipment, chests, skins, and other things that free-to-play users won’t have on launch.
We will keep you posted as we learn more about the Lost Ark release date in North America and Europe.
