Each area of the Lenthal Region has its own Illumina Spot, a place to spot and photograph the rare Pokemon that have gained power and size from the native Crystablooms. To unlock the Illumina Spots, players will need to explore the previous levels in the corresponding area in great depth. How to Unlock Illumina Spot in Lental Seafloor (Maricopia) in New Pokemon Snap
To unlock the Illumina Spot in Marciopia, follow these steps:
- Enter Lental Seafloor Undersea on Research Level 2.
- Follow the Clawitzer at the beginning of the level.
- Throw a pink Illumina Orb at the Clawitzer just before the cave.
- Clawitzer will break a passage for you to enter the cave.
- Scan the area, and take the alternate path.
- Complete the level.
The first step to unlocking the Illumina Spot in Maricopia is by getting the pink Illumina Orbs. You can get these Pink Illumina Orbs by scanning and analyzing the Pink Crystabloom on the Lental Seafloor level. There’s usually a Lumineon blocking it, so you’ll need to get it out of the way first.
After you have your pink Illumina Orbs, enter into the Lental Seafloor Undersea area on Research Level 2. Near the beginning of the area, you’ll see a Clawitzer and follow him briefly in your Neo One. The Pokemon will lead you to a cave, at which point you need to power it up with an Illumina Orb. The powered-up Clawitzer will smash through the rocks that are blocking your path.
After the rocks are clear, scan the area and take the alternate path. You will then be heading into a cave through a new route you haven’t gone before. Finish through the level, and scan everything that pops up for you. Take some good pictures, as there’s a few new Pokemon in here. Finish out the level, and the Illumina Spot for Lental Seafloor in Marciopia should now be accessible.
