The amount of content that is contained within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is staggering. Giving off that Elden Ring vibe where you’ll be on your way to complete something, only to go off on a 5 hour tangent due to something you see off in the distance. However, Nintendo has put as much love and care into the aesthetic and cosmetic appeal of this game. Further deepening just how unique you can make your Link. One of the newest cosmetic additions, involves the ability to change your paraglider skin. A device that is almost synonymous with Breath of the Wild’s success, returns with a myriad of fresh paints for players to use. Unfortunately, changing the look of your paraglider won’t be something that you can do from your inventory. You’ll need to talk to Sayge in Hateno Village if you want to change your paraglider skin. For a measly 20 rupees, any fabrics that you have collected from around Hyrule can be added to your paraglider. Additionally, if you own any of the 20 Amiibo figures, there are some exclusive skins that unlock from those.

This list is completely subjective since paraglider skins do not affect the devices performance. So you might have ones that aren’t on this list, but that doesn’t mean they’re any better/worse. With that out of the way, let’s take a look at the 10 best paraglider skins in Tears of the Kingdom.

#10 – Sheik Fabric

The Sheik fabric, named after the alter-ego of Princess Zelda, can be obtained by scanning the Sheik Amiibo from Super Smash Bros. Sporting the red eye symbol of the Sheikah, this paraglider skin is adorned with yellow tassels, as well as light blue streams on the end.

#9 – Lucky Clover Gazette Fabric

The Lucky Clover Gazette fabric is one that is a personal favorite. Since the in game gazette is reporting on the latest happenings in Hyrule, we can’t help but feel a bit of comradery as fellow journalists. Made out of newspaper, this paraglider skin can be obtained by completing at least two side missions from Penn.

This paraglider skin is sure to make players feel nostalgic for the simpler times of Hyrule. The Ancient Sheikah fabric has images and symbols that players will recognize if they’ve played Breath of the Wild. You can obtain this skin by scanning the Guardian Amiibo from Breath of the Wild.

Mimicking the style and colors of Cece’s own clothes, you can obtain this paraglider fabric by completing the “Team Cece or Team Reede?” side mission. With all these mushrooms, there’s sure to be an Italian plumber that would appreciate this skin.

One of the very first fabrics you’ll obtain, the Horse God fabric can be obtained by registering a horse with a stable for the first time. Depicting an image of the Horse God themself Malanya, this paraglider skin gets bonus points for the mish-mash of colors it’s got going on. One of the only skins with multi-colored tassels, you have to wonder if Link has seen this horse in his dreams.

Definitely one of the most immersion breaking skins in the game, the Pixel fabric shows the players Link’s humble, pixelated beginnings. Obtained by scanning the Link 8-Bit Amiibo, this paraglider skin is for those who yearn for the days of old. The best part about this fabric, is that there are definitely more polygons used to create the paraglider in TOTK than the majority of the original 8-bit Zelda games.

#4 – Princess of Twilight Fabric

Another classic Zelda image, the Princess of Twilight fabric will surely catch a few eyes. You can collect this fabric by scanning the Zelda Amiibo from Super Smash Bros. This paraglider skin seems as if they ripped it straight from the cloth around Zelda’s dress from Twilight Princess. Adorned with the Triforce, along with other key patterns.

#3 – Majora’s Mask Fabric

The moon is falling! Actually, Tears of the Kingdom only has a blood moon, but still. The Majora’s Mask fabric is an iconic piece of Zelda history. Obtained by scanning the Link Amiibo from the Majora’s Mask 30th Anniversary, this one is a must have for true saviors of Hyrule.

Now this skin could be considered #1 for players who don’t have access to any Amiibos. Either way, the Chuchu fabric is by far one of the silliest and best paraglider skins in the game. Obtained by completing a side mission for Sayge, he’ll require you to show him a picture of a Chuchu. A bright blue fabric combined with the ginormous eyes of a Chuchu are sure to turn eyes all around Hyrule, no matter how high up you are.

#1 – Mirror of Twilight Fabric

Finally, our pick for the best paraglider skin in Tears of the Kingdom, is the Mirror of Twilight fabric. Truly nothing quite like it in the rest of the game, you can obtain it by scanning one of three Amiibos (Link -Super Smash Bros., Link – TP 30th Ann., Wolf Link – TP). A multi-colored Triforce in the middle, with lots of interesting shapes and symbols surrounding it in a circle. Thanks to having multiple options on which Amiibo this one is earned from, players have a bit more of a chance at grabbing this one verses others.
