New Destiny 2 expansion, new glitches and bugs available for you. I mean, it is not something strictly related to Bungie, it is sort of like a rule for live service games nowadays to bring on some errors. It is human nature, after all. And, until AIs don’t take over the world, we will see articles like this, hoping to fix some issues that make the players have a less than gratifying experience. Here is how to fix Destiny 2 Lightfall “Invisibility” bug.
How to Fix Destiny 2 Lightfall “Invisibility” Bug
Becoming invisible in a game is always a great way to be stealthy and go unnoticed by enemies. But what happens when this is due to a weird texture bug that will make you appear invisible along with your crosshair and weapon? Well, chaos ensues of course and a track record of failures becomes larger. You can see the problem below, with Senior Editor from The Verge, Tom Warren, reporting it.
Well, that is not great. Some users have reported having exactly the same issue. Others have also reported that restarting the game fixes the issue momentarily. However, it lasts for just a little while only to fall back to invisibility again. Some even say this brings back challenge to the game. Oh well, comedy is well received in times like this. You can go ahead and do a couple of stuff while Bungie takes care of this issue, although it has been an issue before. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can do:
Troubleshooting Steps
- Restart your game. Close your launcher and the game from the Task Manager in PC to ensure a full restart and open it again. Be sure to close the game manually in your consoles.
- Restart your PC or console. In the case of consoles, you can even try to disconnect the connection from the wall, wait 10 seconds and reconnect it again.
- Update your graphics card and Windows installation. Update your console’s firmware and game version.

Unfortunately, your best choice for a fix is to wait on Bungie to go ahead and address this issue and patch it. However, we all know how things are in these type of situations. Long and painful. Anyway, let’s get more optimistic and hope this gets fixed for all Destiny 2 users to keep playing the latest Lightfall expansion.
