How to get EXP Augmentor in Octopath Traveler 2

With so many characters you need to keep up with in Octopath Traveler II, you need help with leveling up. Not quite a Pokemon party, although you do have 8 companions you have to keep at consistent levels with one another if you’re all about completing the game and every chapter and each character’s story. There are plenty of ways to keep up with them all, especially just grinding. However, even grinding you’d really like some help, wouldn’t you? Luckily, although limited, there is an EXP Augmentor that helps a character gain more XP faster. Where is it you may ask? Well, let’s tell you how to get the EXP Augmentor in Octopath Traveler 2.

How to get EXP Augmentor in Octopath Traveler 2

You’ll be fairly leveled up by the time you can reach the EXP Augmentor. So don’t hold out on grinding till you can get it. Also, keep in mind this is only one item. So it can only be held one at a time. This is more for either getting your favorite character to a much higher level than the others. Also, use it to help your least favorite keep up with the rest so you don’t have to use them too much and they don’t fall behind too far.

Once you’re able to sail off from the New Delsta Harbor and into the Sundering Sea, go up to Frigit Isle. You have to sail out on the overworld map to the right side of the Isle. There in the water, there is a floating chest. Inside that chest is the EXP Augmentor!

That’s right, it is that easy! Just be careful in the open waters. You could run into battles too tough for you if you do this too early and aren’t at a high enough level already. Once you’ve obtained the Augmentor however you can use it to help boost your weaker or strongest Characters so that when you are caught in a snag hopefully at least one of them has the power to muscle you through it.
