How to Solo Electric Sheep Mission in Warzone 2.0 DMZ

Unlike counting sheeps, this will not put you to sleep

The return of what feels like the Call of Duty Mascot, Wheelson is long-overdue. Wheelson has been around since the dawn of Call of Duty games, being the most meme’d on Killstreak to use in the game. You will find these drones being used to run over players, ambush groups with C4 placed on its back or to taunt the final player on a Search and Destroy match. The new Crown Faction, only available to those who have purchased MW2, will get to experience the Wheelson in its full force as you are tasked to hunt one of these down. This is our guide on how to successfully complete the ‘Electric Sheep’ Mission solo in DMZ.

How to Complete ‘Electric Sheep’ Crown Mission

The ‘Electric Sheep’ Mission asks one thing of players to do, that is to hack the Wheelson in either Ashika Island or Building 21. The Wheelson is a drone in the shape of a small four-wheeled vehicle. It was a popular Killstreak to use in Black Ops, especially as a means to run over enemies in Search and Destroy. This drone has made its glorious return in the new Crown Faction, where players must hack the Wheelson’s Security System in the Tsuki Castle.

The Importance of your Loadout

Players should first equip the Field Upgrade DDOS device into your Loadout before you deploy. This will act as an EMP, temporarily disabling the Wheelson from using its weaponry, allowing you to get close to hack it. You should go to Ashika Island to complete this Mission solo as Building 21 is a highly contested Map with fellow Operators. Completing this solo at Building 21 will be much tougher than doing so on Ashika Island. However, the area in which you will complete this Mission is at the Castle, which is too a highly congested spot for AI enemies.

We highly recommend players also have a Self Revive readily available should the Wheelson down you in your intense 1v1. You can also bring Stims in case you take too much damage, or pick these up as a medical item on the Map. When you are heading to Tsuki Castle, try to go there immediately after drop, that way you will avoid the majority of Operators. Once you are inside the Castle grounds, you will note that there is a circular path around the perimeter of the Castle, just past the small bridge entrance. You can enter the Castle at any side and you will walk immediately onto the Wheelson patrol path. The path in which it moves it counter-clockwise around the Castle.

How to 1v1 Wheelson

Wheelson is an annoying “boss” to fight as he will fire at you and run you over if you get the chance. You need to make sure that when facing Wheelson you have not alerted any AI in the area otherwise your task just got a whole lot tougher. The goal is to wait until Wheelson is within a two-meter radius. You should use the surrounding buildings along the drone’s path as cover so that the Wheelson does not see you. Listen to the audio of the Wheelson moving, it will often come to a stop randomly so never assume that it has gone past you. When the drone is close enough, enable the DDOS device to temporarily stun the Wheelson.

The effects of the DDOS only lasts for 5-seconds, in this time you want to close the gap and get behind the Wheelson. Once you are behind the drone however, you will get a couple of seconds where you can begin the hack. Follow the Wheelson as it moves, and circle around it so that the head does not lock onto your body. Be careful of the drone reversing into you as it will damage you. The second you get too far away the bar resets so you must make sure that you are on the Wheelson at all times. If you were to get downed in the battle, make sure you are close to the drone so that you can continue to hack it.

Utilize Cover in the Fight

You should use the buildings as a safety net as you fight in case you are taking too much damage. Look for a building with multiple access points (doors and windows) that is along the drone patrol path. That way if you feel as though you are about to get downed, you can quickly get inside the building to recover. When you successfully hack the Wheelson, the Mission will end so you do not need to worry about dying in the DMZ. However, if this is a Suicide Mission, you may wish to use an Insured Weapon so that if you die, you still keep in after the deployment.

Be sure to scan the area for any other Operators in the Castle as these can highly affect your game. You do not want to be close to filling the bar and get downed by a camping Operator in a nearby building. Others may be looking to complete this Mission too, so be aware at all times that you and Wheelson are definitely not getting some alone time.
