How to Get Strength Back in Sons of the Forest

*Rocky theme sounds in the background*

A mind that is unbreakable will often need a body that will be fit for whatever situation it is presented with. Specially if we are dealing with such a stressful situation such as being stranded on an island with no Wilson but with a series of enemies wanting to get the best out of you. And when I mean the best out of you, that is getting to eat you, literally. Well, time to train, then. Here is how to get strength back in Sons of the Forest.

How to Get Strength Back in Sons of the Forest

Energy, hunger, thirst, and strength, That are some of the indicators you have in your HUD that will warn you in case you require water, food, or some rest. Strength, however, is another thing entirely. As you can see below, the flexed arm shows its level. It is a representation of your overall strength at the time, and you will have to train in order to get some of it back. That, or, well, to build more muscle to fight the monsters lurking on the island.

How do you build strength? Well, you will have to pick up your axe or another melee weapons and swing it. That’s it! You can either swing your weapon and hit the air, or you can chop some wood. You can even kill some enemies, all of it impacts on how strong you are and will become. Eating your necessary intake of daily food also contributes to your overall strength, as some users have been reporting lately. So, if you allow me to speculate, since this mechanic is sort of a mystery at the moment, just keep your hunger, thirst, and energy levels at bay, and you won’t see any strength loss. Makes sense, right? Who would fight vigorously with an empty stomach, a dry mouth and with no sleep? Only a mad man would, and we ain’t mad, at least not that much.

So, you better get swinging if you plan on having more muscle, which could potentially translate to fewer swings necessary to do some wood chopping and some enemy killing. So, go ahead and make use of your melee weapons as soon as you are able to get them. Have a good time swinging, my friend.
