Having an awesome car sounds great on paper, especially when it’s a souped-up techno car like the ones in Cyberpunk 2077. Unfortunately, awesome cars usually cost a lot of money, plus gas and insurance and maintenance and- well, nobody’s got time for that. The best things in life are free, as they say, and that includes awesome wheels. Here’s how to unlock some of the best vehicles for free in Cyberpunk 2077.
These Prices are Crazy!
The car that you start Cyberpunk 2077 with, bless its soul, handles like a shopping cart and goes about as fast. Sure, you can throw people out of their cars and take them for yourself, Grand Theft Auto-style, but then you run the risk of police intervention. The best course of action, then, is to get a fantastic car all to yourself with no risk of arrest or overpaying. Luckily, you can get some of the best vehicles in the game just by completing missions!
How to Unlock the Best Vehicles for Free in Cyberpunk 2077
The most powerful car in the game is the Rayfield Caliburn. It’s slick, it’s stunning, and it boasts an unbeatable 1,660 horsepower. You take this thing onto the open roads and really open it up, and you’ll never forget it. To get the Rayfield Caliburn, you just need to complete the mission “Ghost Town,” located in the badlands. After you complete that mission, wait three in-game days, then find a cave in the wasteland, location pictured below. The car will be in a large crate, and will be added to your garage once you get into it.
If you’re more of a two-wheeler fan, there are also some fantastic motorcycles you can get. Unfortunately, the best motorcycle in the game, the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X (which may look familiar if you’ve ever seen Akira) can only be obtained with a 22,000 Eddie investment. However, the second best motorcycle in the game, the ARCH Nazare, which only has about ten less horsepower than the Kusanagi, can be obtained for free.
You can get it from the side job “Heroes,” though I won’t go into the circumstances of its acquisition due to spoilers. The Nazare is a quality bike in itself, though you can actually get a slightly better version of it if, during an innocuous conversation with Jackie earlier in the game, you give him some advice on how to mod it. You’ll need a sufficiently high technical knowledge stat to do this.
