However, there is a helpful mod that was recently released that, once downloaded, can turn off those pesky hints and tips for you.

A mod was recently created that allows players to completely remove the puzzle hint voiceover; it’s “Puzzle Hint Voiceover Remover – SILENCE” by HaywirePhoenix on NexusMods. This mod is currently one of the most popular mods for Hogwarts Legacy right now, and it’s no wonder why! It completely removes the puzzle hint voiceovers that automatically play in puzzle rooms, Hogsmeade, during exploration, and more! If that wasn’t great enough, it also gives players the option to remove Demiguide hints from the game as well. How to Minimize Puzzle Hints and Tips in Hogwarts Legacy (No Mod)

Without the “Puzzle Hint Voiceover Remover – SILENCE” mod, there isn’t a way to completely get rid of the puzzle hints and tips feature. There are a couple of ways that you can minimize the number of hints and tips that the game gives you, however.

One of the ways that you can minimize the amount of “helpful” hints that the game gives you during puzzles is by changing the game’s difficulty. If you’re playing Hogwarts Legacy on Easy or Normal mode, you’ll likely get a lot more hints.

If you’re playing the game on Hard mode, however, you’ll hardly get any hints at all! Playing Hogwarts Legacy on Hard mode may not be the best choice for beginners, but if you’re trying to challenge yourself with fewer hints and tips anyway, you might as well go the extra mile!

Another way that you can minimize the number of hints you get is by lowering your in-game volume. Most of the “helpful” hints and tips that you get during puzzles are blurted out loud by your character, so if you lower the in-game volume to the point where you can no longer hear your character’s word vomit, you won’t get nearly as many hints!

This may seem like a silly solution, but until Avalanche Software releases an update that allows you to turn off hints manually, it’s one of the only solutions we have.
