How to Expand the Size of Your Vivarium in Hogwarts Legacy

You should open a petting zoo in there!

With its distinctive battle system, outstanding visuals, and focus on all the tiny elements that make a videogame simply stunning, Hogwarts Legacy has been establishing itself as a classic among many players from all over the globe. This videogame, which is set in the Harry Potter universe but also a century earlier in 1890, has all of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World’s worldbuilding brilliance but none of its storyline burden. The outcome? A wonderful and unique tale set in a familiar and beloved environment. In order to study spells, gamers can enroll at Hogwarts as witches and wizards, where they will brew potions and master other branches of magic, exactly like Harry Potter and his pals. Players will also take on Dark Wizards and fight off an evil Goblin Rebellion that’s looking to destroy the Wizarding World as we know it.

The first Vivarium that you will obtain in the game is a forest that can hold up to four species with 12 total creatures. You will unlock this after getting the Room of Requirement and finishing the mission with Deek relating to the taming of magical creatures. However, there are three other types of Vivariums that you can also unlock which will give you four more species’ worth of capacity and all hold 12 creatures each. Here are the three other Vivariums that you can unlock in Hogwarts Legacy.

  • The Grassaland Meadow Vivarium can be unlocked by finishing the ‘Phoenix Rising’ quest in the game.
  • The Swamp Vivarium will be yours after you finish the side quest known as ‘Foal of the Dead’.
  • The Coastal/Beach Vivarium, arguable the nicest looking out of them all, can be obtained by completing the side quest called ‘The Plight of the House-Elf’ which is available after the ‘Astronomy Class’ mainline quest.
