Path of Exile is constantly being improved and updated with buffs and nerfs to various aspects of the game, as are its peer RPG rivals, but the developers of this popular game are quite often surprising us with new and unique items. Rare items with one-of-a-kind abilities really bring a lot of stir into the PoE community as they can become a basis for some new hero builds.
One such new item is the Eternal Damnation Amulet which was released recently, and since its release has been getting a lot of attention. Read on to find out why Eternal Damnation Amulet is unique and how you can best use it.

How to Best Use the Eternal Damnation Amulet in PoE?
One of the most important traits of Eternal Damnation is that it provides its wearer with a -5% to all maximum resistances and gives “additional elemental damage reduction equal to half of your Chaos resistance”. Additionally, it gives 40-70 to maximum mana, +16-24 to Strength and Intelligence, and 13% to Chaos resistance.
You can combine Eternal Damnation with Loreweave Elegant Ringmail which puts your maximum resistances at 76-78%. If you go for Resistance and Ailment Protection Mastery passive skill nod try and go for the ones that have adjacent nods that give Chaos resistance bonuses which will significantly improve your build. Moreover, try and grab Chaos Mastery clusters as they massively boost your Chaos resistance. A cherry on top would be the Cleansed Thoughts nod that doubles and the Chaos resistance you have.
Eternal Damnation Amulet has some pretty fierce competition since the amulet slot is highly competitive. But, if you are looking for a tanky build this item might be perfect for those clutch moments in Hardcode mode where survivability is the number one concern.
