Well, what I know about getting stranded on an island after surviving a plane crash is that, whenever you get rescued, your wife will be already remarried and your children would have completely forgotten about you. And that you will suffer from schizophrenia and make buddies with a ball in the most outrageous product placement of all time. Well, anyway, here is how to get clay in Stranded Deep. If that is not an introduction to a guide, then I don’t know what is.
How to get Clay in Stranded Deep
Before you attempt to get clay, be sure to have the pickaxe first, because the way you want to get clay in a substantial amount, is by mining it. Once you do, you will be able to find clay in shallow waters. They are bigger rocks than usual, and you will know that they are clay because they will become highlighted. So, basically, the game is making your life easier. Nice!
You are going to have to mine clay in order to create brick and water bottles, allowing you to build structures and also ensuring that you don’t die of thirst. And you are in luck as well, since clay is mostly scattered around the shore, meaning that you don’t need to use a raft to get to it. You just need to be careful when mining it since it will scatter around the area for you to pick it up.

Be sure to collect all the clay you can to build your bricks that will support the structures you will need to survive. Like I said above, it won’t take you a lot of time or effort, but the reward from doing it on time will be great for you. Well, I hope sharks don’t eat you in your ocean venture, if that is some sort of good wish or anything, I guess.
