Chained Echoes – How to Get all the Elemental Tablets

What could go wrong?

Imagine facing the worst enemy in the game. Not because it is badly designed, but because it is the most unforgiving and powerful foe of the game. That is quite bad enough. Now, imagine getting to work yourself throughout dungeons and dimensions in order to grant yourself the honor to even take part of said battle. Now, that’s just cruel. Well, games are meant to be fair, but at the same time, usually our wellbeing is not important at all. Having said that, here is how to get all the Elemental Tablets in Chained Echoes. All of this for a guaranteed death thanks to the God King himself. Anyway, let’s go.

How to Get all the Elemental Tablets

There are a total of six Elemental Tablets in the game that will unlock the most difficult battle in the game, so of course we want to collect them all. Their correspondent elements are the following: Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Light, and Darkness. Yes, half of them are not elements in fact, but you get the idea. Be sure to continue reading to know how to get all the Elemental Tablets in Chained Echoes.

Water Tablet

Located in the Narslene Sewers, you will have to have collected the following items prior to your search:

  • Charon’s Coin Bag, located in a manor in the Rohlan Fields Lake. You will also need the Manor Key, located in the bluffs of the Eternal Flame Temple, inside a chest.
  • The Elevator Key, located in a room right next to the end of the final dungeon of the game, the Magic Academy Nhysa.

With those items, you will be ready to go. Go ahead and enter Raminas Tower and climb up to the third floor, use the Elevator Key to use the Elevator. Quite obvious, but anyway. You will descend to the first floor. Go deeper until you exit into the Ograne Grottos. Go to the left of the entrance and you will find a boat. Of course, we want to sail it. Here is where your Charon’s Coin Bag comes in handy. Afterward, go aheadn an enter Baalrut Tunnel, which is located north. After landing in the tunnel, go south and you will arrive to Narslene Sewers. You will have to complete the last portion of the sewers and confront the boss Boutrous. Once defeated, you will claim the Water Tablet for yourself.

Fire Tablet

Make your way to the Baalrut Tunnel, just as if you were searching for the Water Tablet. Go northeast, and you will encounter two bosses named Chel and Twi’Tone. Once defeated, you will find the exit to an oasis. To the south, you will find the Fire Tablet.

Earth Tablet

You will find the Earth Tablet at Ograne Grottos. Go to the eastern part of the grottos and then head south past the boat’s landing point and continue your way into the deeper part of the grottos. You will reach an end in which you will be transported into a different dimension. You will encounter Randomage. Once defeated, leave the dimension and you will find the Earth Tablet.

Wind Tablet

Once you have completed the main quest named Chained Echoes, you will have to head to the northeast of Valandis. You will find there is a new location there. And yes, we want to investigate. You will find a lot of rafts and a lot of tentacles. These are the rests of Marylea and you will have to fight a boss named Krakun, which is very similar to the Krachan you faced before in the game. The way to defeat him is basically the same as well, although you may need a level 600 Sky Armor to withstand its attacs. Once defeated, you will get the Wind Tablet.

Light Tablet

Before getting the Light Tablet, make sure to collect the Baibai X key, which can be purchased from the merchant in Goblin Village. You need to be going through the side quest A Goblin’s Dilemma in order to be able to talk to the merchant. Once you got the key, travel to Flower Fields of Perpetua, northeast. You will find some vines blocking the way, only for your Baibai X key to destroy them. Head to the northeast corner to fight the Assassin Girl boss. Once defeated, you will get the Light Tablet.

Darkness Tablet

After completing A Goblin’s Dilemma, head back to Gobling Village and find the Miner’s Key resting within the mushrooms near the merchant. Travel to Wygrand Mines, accesible thanks to the mining shaft located in the northern part of the town of Rockbottom. Use the Miner’s Key to operate an elevator located there. Once off the elevator, head west and you will find a door. Enter this area and fight the goblins. You will then find the Darkness Table, and of course, take it with you.

Once you have collected all the Tablets, head to Ograne Grottos and find the six stone altars in the west side area. They will unlock the hardest battle in the game against the God King Gaemdriel. I know it sounds scary and almost impossible to battle that enemy, but that’s because it is. I wish you the best of lucks in your following battle, but like you’ve seen above, you will have us to guide you along the way.
