In My Hero Academia, a superhuman ability, better known as a Quirk, isn’t just some magical thing you whip out at a moment’s notice. They’re intrinsic human abilities that you flex and develop like muscles. With a bit of creativity and training, almost any Quirk can be a proper superpower, but obviously, some are better suited for the hero (or villain) lifestyle than others. Here’s the Quirk tier list for My Hero Mania.
My Hero Mania Quirk Tier List
So, what exactly makes for an ideal Quirk in My Hero Mania? In a word, flexibility. High DPS is important, certainly, but that’s not the only thing that matters in the heat of battle. You also want defensive and self-preservation abilities, mobility, combo potential, and if you can swing it, status effects. The best kind of hero or villain is one who can control and keep themselves in the fight almost entirely under their own power, pun unintended.

- One for All (or Shoot Style)
- Cremation
- Overhaul
- Permeation
My Hero Mania A-Tier Quirks
While not quite as powerful as the S-tiers, these Quirks are still more than viable picks in the hands of those who know how to make up for their shortcomings.
- Half-Hot-Half-Cold
- Explosion
- Dark Shadow
- Engine
- Fierce Wings
My Hero Mania B-Tier Quirks
These Quirks are a bit middling in quality, good for new players or those who favor experimental builds, but not very likely to beat those with better Quirks.
- Zero Gravity
- Air Cannon
- Ice
- Shock Absorption
My Hero Mania C-Tier Quirks
These Quirks won’t do anyone any favors in any but the most specific situations. Unless you’re a really big fan of whoever the Quirk in question came from, they’re best avoided.
- Invisibility
- Super Strength
- Super Regeneration
By all means, you’re welcome to try out any and all Quirks that catch your eye. After all, tiers are just a suggestion based on community feedback. Just don’t be too disappointed if you can’t beat someone using an S-tier Quirk with your favorite C-tier Quirk.
