What Area Has the Highest Level Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

It’s no surprise that Area Zero in The Great Crater of Paldea has the strongest, most high-level Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Area Zero is an area located in the center of the map that is restricted until you reach the end of the Starfall Street questline, the Vicory Road questline, and the Path of Legends questline.

It makes sense that the area with the strongest Pokémon can’t be accessed until you reach the end of the game; locking an entire area of the map until the end of the game may go against Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s open-world theme, but it’s honestly for the best. The Pokémon roaming around in Area Zero are no joke, these overpowered Pokémon will flatten you if you’re not adequately prepared.

Every Pokémon in Area Zero is at least level 50 and above, with most of them being in the 60s. You’ll want your Pokémon to be at least level 60 and above before you charge headfirst into this terrifying area; you definitely don’t want to face these overpowered monsters with an under-leveled team. Not only are these wild Pokémon ridiculously high-leveled, but almost all of them are fully evolved Pokémon, paradox Pokémon, or pseudo legendaries (many of them will be all three).

In Pokémon Scarlet, you can expect to see insanely strong Pokémon such as Great Tusk, Roaring Moon, Slither Wing, Flutter Mane, and more wandering around in this area. In Pokémon Violet, you can expect to see Iron Moth, Iron Treads, Iron Hands, Iron Jugulis, and more wandering around. Paradox Pokémon are scary enough to face in battle, but they’re even scarier when they’re nearly level 70.
