Making money can be quite a struggle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, sometimes you have to resort to selling your hard-won treasures just to get by. Thankfully, many valuable items can be found just lying around Paldea, waiting to be picked up and sold!

Many of these valuable items have no use outside of being sold for profit, so it really is just like stumbling upon free money. Not every valuable treasure in this game is created equal, however, and some are much more expensive than others. What is the Most Valuable Item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?

Many people assumed that the Star Piece or even the elusive Big Pearl was the most valuable item in the game, and while they are very good guesses, neither of these high-priced treasures is the most valuable item in the game; the actual answer might just surprise you! The most valuable item that can be sold in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is the Pearl String, which can be sold for a staggering $10,000.

Pearl Strings are much harder to come by than many of the other valuable items in the game, but their price tag makes tracking them down more than worth the effort. If you’re looking to make a lot of money quickly in this game, however, it might be easier for you to hunt down a lot of the other high-priced items in the game (such as Rare Bones or Stardust) and sell them in bulk.

Pearl Strings may be the most valuable items in the game from a financial standpoint, but the really valuable items are the ones that cannot be sold, such as the Tera Orb or your Rotom Phone.
