To gain access to the roof, you can take two approaches. There is an entrance through the glass behind one of the trucks. You can also jump up there via the ramp by using the hidden tunnel entrance.

Once you’re up on the roof, you need to jump across the street to the area where you got the Popcorn Bucket. This gap is the first one of the three. We recommend breaking all the glass around the planters and squeezing between there to hit the jump. If you miss, you will need to go back up to the roof, killing your time remaining for completion.

The next gap is on the rooftop where we collected the Secret Tape. Make the jump across the gap, as that’s the second gap out of three we need to complete the challenge.

On the next rooftop, you will see another wooden ramp that leads into the park. You need to hit this ramp with enough speed to make it to the rail down below. It seems as though the metal rail is the minimum jump distance to get credit for the gap.

That’s all you need to know to complete the Rooftop Gaps in Downtown Minneapolis in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. Check out the video below if you prefer a walkthrough in that format.

If you are having trouble making any of the jumps, your skater’s stats are probably too low. You can check out our guide on how to increase your skater’s stats in THPS.
