It is natural to have some issues when launching a game. In that case, Warzone 2.0 is supernatural due to the amount of glitches that are being found. Although the majority are quite easy fixes, some of them are a little annoying, counter-intuitive and pretty much unfixable until Infinity Ward addresses them and post an update. Warzone 2.0 introduces a lot of new features to the game, one of them being Proximity Chat. With this being a new feature, of course it was bound to have some sort of error or problem. So here is how to fix game chat not working in Warzone 2.
How to Fix Game Chat Not Working
If you’re unable to hear people through the new feature that Warzone 2.0 has implemented, well unmute the TV, son! Now, on a serious note, it has to do with some setting in the Audio section. So you’re going to want to go there and change some parameters. Go to Settings > Audio and switch the audio settings from Party Only to All Lobby Audio. You can also turn off the Proximity Chat option in the Audio section. Also, it is important to know that if you’re playing on PS5, PS5, Xbox One or Xbos Series X/S, you’re going to have to be sure that you’re not on a party before starting a match in order for Game Chat to work effectively.
