Is Titanfall 2 Cross-Platform?

While Titanfall 2 is a beloved game and surely enjoyed by a considerable amount of people, I am not pleased to say that currently, Titanfall 2 is not a cross-platform game. However, it is a cross-gen game, which means that PS5 and PS4, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S gamers will be able to enjoy playing with each other on their respective Sony and Microsoft consoles. PC gamers are left alone in this one.

There is actually an intent on the developers’ side to implement this feature. However, I think we are far from getting there. Having experienced the server and multiplayer issues that have plagued the game since the beginning and with several infamous instances of hacking, things are looking bad. If they can’t handle things quite decently right now, what is the certainty that they will manage to implement a cross-platform mode in the game’s core? The game would certainly benefit from receiving such an update, but I believe it is quite difficult at the time. One can only hope that things get sorted out with the pass of time.
