It’s the word game-pocalypse. In the depths of Mt. Wordluvius, the seven-headed dragon known as 7 Little Words arises to perform its demonic coup d’état. Translation: there are now a metric ton of new word puzzle games. In addition to the onslaught of games based on Wordle, there are some that have existed for a lot longer than the relative newcomer.

In 7 Little Words, players are tasked with deciphering seven words using just as many clues. They’re given a 4×5 grid of partial words to mix and match on their way to word domination. It’s a very fun and unique game that can be played via mobile devices or web browsers — though the web browser version is more limited than the mobile app.

How to Play 7 Little Words

7 Little Words can be played either via the official mobile app or web browser. If you play using the mobile app, you’ll have access to not only the daily puzzle, but four other bonus puzzles in addition! You can also play past puzzles, though you can only play up to two days earlier without paying for the premium version. If you play using the browser version, you’ll only have access to the daily puzzle.
