WoW Classic Blackwing Lair Release Date

World of Warcraft Classic fans have been waiting anxiously for the next content release and Blizzard has finally announced a date. Players can expect the Blackwing Lair patch to be released at 3:00 PM PST (6:00 PM EST) on Wednesday, February 12.

WoW Classic Blackwing Lair Release Date

  • 3:00 PM PST (6:00 PM EST) on Wednesday, February 12.

In addition to Blackwing Lair, a few other pieces of content will also be unlocked. This content includes:

  • Level 50 Class Quests
  • New Reputation Rewards
  • Eternal Quintessence
  • Darkmoon Faire

Blackwing Lair – attunement quest “Blackhand’s Command” for Blackwing Lair begins on Friday, January 10th.

Level 50 Class Quests – players will be able to complete class specific quest lines from their trainers in the capital cities. Each quest rewards players with a powerful rare item.

New Reputation Rewards – new rewards will be available for Argent Dawn, Thorium Brotherhood, Timbermaw Hold, Silverwing Sentinels, and Warsong Outriders.

Eternal Quintessence – players who have completed Hands of the Enemy and hit revered with Hydraxian Waterlords will be able to obtain an Eternal Quintessence from Duke Hydraxis.

Darkmoon Faire – this event will launch in early February, and be fully released on February 10th. Darkmoon Cards will start dropping from mobs and bosses on Wednesday, February 5th.
