Differences Between Wild Hearts and Monster Hunter

The real main difference that will probably be the most appealing to players is gameplay. Generally, Wild Hearts comes off as much faster and less tedious. You don’t have repeat hunting missions nearly as often as you do in Monster Hunter. Hunts and battles also seem to go a lot faster. You and the monsters both move noticeably faster than in Monster Hunter.

The biggest mechanic difference is the Karakuri device you’re given at the start of Wild Hearts. The ancient Karakuri technology seems to be more of the story focus than the monsters themselves as well. Another key difference from Monster hunter. The technology allows you to create traps and contraptions out of thin air. This helps create a more creative and elaborate building mechanic during your hunts than in Monster Hunter.

These two simple but very important changes are making Wild Hearts come off as more appealing to a lot of people. Those who thought Monster Hunter could be too tedious or slow to get going will likely love how quickly Wild Hearts dumps you into the action and allows you to rely on your quick reflexes and sharp creative wit. Wild Hearts is likely to come off as more of a fast pace challenge instead of a slow trudging repetitive build-up like most Monster Hunter games.
