If there’s one thing that gamers really love these days, it’s the layers of gameplay controls that developers give gamers to play with and adjust in order to make their games easier, thus more fun to actually play. And with EA and KOEI TECMO’s new Kemono-hunting title Wild Hearts hitting the scene, players are wondering if the dead zones on controller thumbsticks can be adjusted. It’s a fun game, but movement can feel a bit sluggish at times. So, is it possible? Are there dead zone settings for controller sticks in Wild Hearts? Let’s talk about it.
Wild Hearts: Are There Dead Zone Settings for Controller Sticks? Answered
If you’re a player who’s enjoying the majority of Wild Hearts but are having some trouble getting past its thumbstick clunkiness, you aren’t alone. But if you’re looking to be able to adjust and make them a bit more sensitive to movement, you’re unfortunately going to have to get used to what the game gives you. For one reason or another, Wild Hearts doesn’t have many controller settings options for players to fine-tune.

Though these are features that many, many games have given players over the last few years, it appears that KOEI TECMO just gives players a handful of things, without any of them being too important. The team may just not be very comfortable with controller settings, and adding dead zone settings just wasn’t in the cards.
But if you’re curious as to what settings can be adjusted, there are a few to tickle your fancy. You can fully remap buttons on your controller, adjust Snap, change how to Karakuri Stance, change the button hold time, toggle controller vibration, and even adjust various aspects of the game’s camera. Though the dead zone can’t be fixed, there are at least a few things that make other aspects of gameplay better.
So, now you know the unfortunate truth about whether or not Wild Hearts has dead zone settings to adjust for your controller sticks.
