Which House to Choose in Harry Potter Magic Awakened

What house is the best fit for you?

Since the release of Hogwarts Legacy in early 2023, fans of the Wizarding World have had their fair share of magically enhanced games. And Portkey games shows no sign of slowing down, releasing a card-based mobile game called Harry Potter Magic Awakened. Only this card game has a bit of a twist. Combining some RPG and even MMO style features to fully immerse witches and wizards within the world. Think Marvel Snap, except if you could converse with superheroes and accompany them on their adventures. Of course, as with any Harry Potter game that places you at the illustrious school of Hogwarts, players get their chance to choose which house they will be sorted into. So let’s draw our wands and figure out which house to choose in Harry Potter Magic Awakened.

The game opens with the player obtaining the coveted letter to Hogwarts, before rushing you off to get ready for your new life at the most famous school of magic. Players will get to choose their outfit, facial features, and even your own owl. Once you have sorted everything out in Diagon Alley, it’s off to Hogwarts to get sorted into one of the 4 houses.

Players will enter the halls of Hogwarts and be sat under the sorting hat to find which house you belong to. The game automatically refers everyone to Hufflepuff from our understanding, but you are free to choose whichever house you prefer. You’ll get the choice of choosing between: Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Griffindor, and Ravenclaw, as well as giving gamers a bit of info on the respective houses. However at the end of the day, choosing a certain house has no bearing on the gameplay or story, and is completely superficial. Aside from certain witches or wizards that may be in your dormitory based on your house, players are free to choose the house of their liking.
