By choosing the right dialogue options, you can unlock some romance scenes throughout the game. Each of the characters has their sexual preferences, though, meaning you will have to play through the game as male and female to romance them all. So, which characters can you romance in Cyberpunk 2077? Here’s everything you need to know.
As we mentioned, gender plays an important role. Two characters could care less about your gender, but a few of them have specific tastes. You can easily miss these scenes by selecting the wrong options, but we’ve got guides on how to unlock them all.
Which Characters Can You Romance in Cyberpunk 2077?
You can romance the following characters in Cyberpunk 2077:
- Alt Cunningham: gender doesn’t matter
- Panam Palmer: requires a male character
- Meredith Stout: requires a male character
- Judy Alvarez: requires a male character
- Kerry Eurodyne: requires a female character
- Rogue: gender doesn’t matter
- River Ward: requires a female character
Alt Cunningham
Alt Cunningham doesn’t care about your gender and is the only character you automatically romance by playing through the main story. In other words, you cannot skip this scene. There’s no walkthrough required, so don’t worry about it.
Panam Palmer

Meredith Stout
Meredith Stout is a heterosexual female character, and you’ll need to be playing as a male to romance her. Lifepath does not play any part in unlocking the scene. Here’s how to romance Meredith Stout in Cyberpunk 2077.
Judy Alvarez
Judy Alvarez is a lesbian female character, so you’ll need to be playing as a female to unlock the scene. Play through all of her Side Quests, and spend the night with her in the Pyramid Song job. Make your move in the bathroom, and talk about it with her the next day.
Kerry Eurodyne
Kerry Eurodyne is a male character who prefers other males, so you need to be playing as a male if you want to romance him. Play through all of his side quests, and make sure to select all of the flirtatious dialogue options. You can romance Kerry after a beach scene during the Boat Drinks quest if you kiss him.
Rogue

River Ward
River Ward is a male character in the game who prefers females. You will need to be playing as a female character to unlock the scene. Play through all of his side quests, and flirt with him in the dialogue options. Kiss him during the Following the River side quests, and let him know you enjoy your time with him.
