While you’re on your way to find Tyr, Kratos’ God of War equivalent in the Norse, you will first need to fight and defeat The Hateful. Once you do, you will find your first Sovereign Coal. It is easier said than done, however, since The Hateful puts a real fight. So train up those dodges and that guard, my friend. Anyway, after receiving the Sovereign Coal, you will be able to find more afterwards in all Draugr Holes. They are all around the nine realms, so don’t worry about not being able to find one near to you.
