Each level of THPS requires players to collect the letters S-K-A-T-E to spell skate. Retrieving these letters is one of the ten challenges on each level. In this guide, we’ll show you where to get SKATE in Downtown Minneapolis in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2.

The first letter, S, is located right near the start. Jump up to the dumpsters to the right, and hop to the rail underneath the billboard. Towards the end of the rail, you will see the big letter S. Collect it and proceed to the next spot.
Continue straight and to the left. You can see the letter K above the water fountain in the middle of the park. Get a bit of air and collect the second letter.
Next, make your way up the street next to Dom & Dom Steakhouse, to the left of the THNN News 10 billboard. Continue up the street and to the right. You will see the letter A above the bank on the left. It’s on the side of the warehouse building.
From the last letter, get some speed and use the ramp to jump up to the catwalk. There are a few other ways to get up here, but it’s easiest if you can make the jump. Collect the T and move on to the next spot.
Drop down from the catwalk and continue along the street. You’ll see some roadwork construction and a high rail above the street light. The final letter is up on the rail. Use the ramp to jump up there and grind across it, then and collect the E.
